The FIPA Director Gordan Milinić and the President of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bruno Bojić together with their associates talked about improving cooperation between the two institutions, joint activities to attract foreign investments in BiH, as well as joint presentations in BiH and abroad when possibilities of the BiH economy and investment projects are presented.

Noting that both institutions have the common
goal of strengthening the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the competitive
advantages of the country in attracting foreign investment, participants at the
meeting stressed the need to implement comprehensive reforms in the area of
legislation, especially the adoption of the quality labour legislation and
the Company Law in BiH.
The Director Milinić emphasized the need to
establish as many contacts with potential foreign investors, and to use all
possibilities and chances for attracting foreign investments.
Interlocutors agreed that it is necessary to
strengthen the work of the economic diplomacy, and to choose competent advisors
from the industry and business associations who will work within the Network of
Diplomatic and Consular Representations on the development of economic
cooperation and on the search for potential investors, based on the practice of
neighbouring countries.
It was agreed that FIPA and FTC will work
together on improving business environment and attracting foreign investment.
