The Association of Industry and Businesspeople in BH - Cofindustrie in BH - was founded in Sarajevo in the intention to help entrepreneurs from Italy, who are in a way already present in BH, but also to those who intend to do that.

The presentation of the Association was held on 28th July in Sarajevo in presence of a large number of the representatives of the authorities of BiH, FBiH, RS, representatives of the Delegation of EU in BiH, EBRD, the Italian Embassy and other.

The representatives of FIPA led by the Director Jelica Grujic also attended the Association presenttaion.

Salvatore D'Erasmo, the president of Cofindustrie Office in BH, is age long entrepreneur from metallic sector and the example of successful investing in BH. He assumes that the Italian entrepreneurs included in that project think that BH citizens are good, hardworking, and intelligent workers, but that the bureaucratic dawdle threatens to smother other advantages of this state.

It has been planned that the Italian entrepreneurs, who have already been present in BH, in fall present the activities of Cofindustrie Office in BH and their experiences to the colleagues in industrially most developed areas of Italy.

The network of support to all entrepreneurs, who plan to invest in BH is in preparation. Italian entrepreneurs are mostly interested in energetic and textile sector, heavy industry, sector for making shoes, tourism...

On the occasion of opening of the Office, the Minister of International Commerce of Italy, Catia Polidori came to Sarajevo, and she considers that this is an important event for both countries.
