Taking part in the economic conference in Vienna on 27 January 2015, Blazenka Miskovic, Deputy Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA), presented the advantages of investment that make BiH more favourable compared to the neighbouring countries.
The representative of the Austrian economy in Sarajevo Sigmund Nemeti, CEO of Raiffeisen Bank to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Karlheinz Dobnigg, Director of Austronet Ltd. Kozarac (parent company Plaspack Netze GmbH), spoke on this occasion about their positive experiences, and invited Austrian businessmen to follow their example and to start cooperation with companies from BiH. As they pointed out, every business project with Bosnia and Herzegovina has to be cost-effective.
The Director of the Export Promotion Agency of Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH (BHEPA) Enes Ališković also had a presentation on the foreign trade exchange between BiH and Austria, on resources available in BiH, and on the possibilities for establishing new cooperation and improving the one's.
In addition, within B2B meetings, companies expressed in direct talks their interest and presented their available capacities and opportunities. The common position of all businesspeople is that the conference was well organized, the talks were successful, and the realization of concrete projects of business is expected.
The conference was attended by more than 70 Austrian companies and around 30 BiH companies.
