Organized by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations at the initiative of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) today in Sarajevo, it was held a meeting with representatives of the company EFT Mine and Power Plant Stanari.
Besides representatives of the Ministry and the Agency, the meeting was attended by representatives of the competent court of registration of Doboj, the registration court of Sarajevo and Travnik and Direction of Indirect Taxation of BiH. They discussed the procedure for registration of foreign investment and the application of current legislation in the process of exemption from import duties on equipment representing investment of foreign citizen.
At the meeting, relevant institutions have showed a high degree of cooperation and coordination in resolving outstanding issues, which represents a clear signal to investors who is building the largest energy facility in BiH, as well as the commitment of institutions in creating a better business environment and ensuring economic growth.
