Representatives of FIPA visited the Municipality of Nevesinje and winery Tvrdos in Trebinje

The representative of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) in Japan Shigehiko Nishihama and the FIPA representative in Mostar Amir Kazic discussed on 12th June with the Mayor of Nevesinje possibilities for promoting Nevesinje in Japan.
 

The FIPA representative Nishihama works on promotion of the tourism potential of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Japan. By profession he is a journalist who works for the two famous magazines in Tokyo and each year he collects data on interesting destinations which are published in these journals. Thanks to Shigehiko Nishihami the number of tourists from Japan increases in BIH from year to year.

The effects of his work were shown at the last fair of food and drinks "Fodeks 2013" in Tokyo.

At this year's "Fodeks 2013," except wine from the cellar of the monastery "Tvrdos" from Trebinje, it was presented the winery "Citluk" cellars "Andrew" from Citluk Winery "Nuic" from Ljubusko and Food Industry "Sava Semberija" from Bijeljina.

- At the fair in Tokyo, four wineries from Herzegovina have achieved very good results and wines were rated as high-quality. It is expected an export about 7,200 bottles of wine, which is for selectively Japanese market very important, and once it enters the market, the producer will no longer have a problem with placement-explained Nishihama.

Besides Nevesinje FIPA representatives also visited winery Tvrdos in Trebinje, where they met with the Director Tihomir Kuduz.
