FIPA PARTICIPATION AT THE PRESENTATION OF THE FEASIBILITY STUDY OF THE CEMENT PRODUCTION IN UGLJEVIK

The FIPA representative Drago Vucic attended the presentation of the feasibility study of the cement production in Ugljevik on 29th March 2012.
 

The study of the possibilities for production of the kinds of cement “portland and calcium sulpho aluminate” in Ugljevik was presented by the professor Jovan Dukovic from the Technology Faculty in Zvornik.

The presentation was attended by the Municipality’s representatives, representatives of the Mine and Thermal Power Plant of Ugljevik, representatives of foreign companies interested in implementing the project of building of the cement factory, the director of the SMEs Agency and business people from the Municipality.  

According to Mr. Durovic, there is a possibility for production of “portland and calcium sulpho aluminate” cement in Ugljevik, taking into account available reserves of raw materials and energy.

Building the factory would cost around 80 million EUR and would produce 600.000 tons of cement per year.
