Deputy Director, PhD Sanja Bazina Crnokić received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Maria Molina Alvarez de Toledo, who was followed by the Deputy Ambassador Daniel Arteta Rodriguez and the Honorary Spanish Consul Pierino Tumbas Deldum.
Deputy
Director Bazina Crnokić welcomed the guests, and then presented the activities
of FIPA and the services it provides to potential and existing foreign
investors, as well as the database of investment projects.
The aim of
the meeting is to improve the existing economic relations between Spain and
Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Ambassador emphasized the good cooperation between
the two countries, but noted that there is always room for improvement and that
it is necessary to organize business events in the future, all with the aim to
made Spanish businessmen familiarized with the business environment and
investment opportunities.
During the
meeting, they discussed Spanish investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, possible
sectors in which progress in economic cooperation could be achieved, the
Aftercare program implemented by FIPA, as well as the role of the Agency in the
investment process, the business environment in general and the ways in which
FIPA can be involved in solving obstacles faced by investors.
The
cooperation between these two institutions will continue in the future in order
to organize business events and other activities.
