5/14/2024

- Intensification of the promotion of BiH's investment potentials in Australia

Representatives of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) Nina Pobrić and Dušan Simanić had a meeting with Haris Jackman, director and president of the Australia-Bosnia and Herzegovina Chamber of Commerce and Benjamin Šuvalija from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the meeting, guests were informed on FIPA's services provided to potential and existing foreign investors, the basic advantages of BiH for investments, attractive sectors and available investment projects.

They discussed the activities of strengthening the economic ties between Australia and BiH, and potential cooperation, as well as the promotion of investment projects in Australia.

The most attractive investment sectors in which there is interest from Australian businesspeople, including the diaspora, are technology, renewable energy sources and tourism.

FIPA has a database of investment projects ready for foreign partners, which can be a good basis for promotional activities, and also provides support in finding adequate locations for investment, whether it is industrial zones or office space.

It was agreed to continue the cooperation related to making Australian authorities familiarized with potentials of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the organization of business forums initiated by Mr Jackman.
