The Acting Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) Marko Kubatlija met with the delegation of the Chinese company VEICHI Electric led by the president Mr Song Qixun, the Director of the Chinese company HD Razvoj Dajana Majmunović and representatives of the China-European Association for Technical and Economic Cooperation (CEATEC).

VEICHI Electric is a leading company that excels in the field of energy and industrial control, owns more than 100 patents of technical inventions, and some of the products are: frequency inverters, servo systems, PV inverter, PLC, HMI, automation equipment, which are widely used in petroleum, chemicals, ceramics, machine tools, finished metal products, cables, plastics, printing and packaging, textiles and chemical fibres, metallurgy, coal mining and other industries.

Mr Kubatlija presented the tax system in Bosnia and Herzegovina, information on the education system and workforce, industrial zones, operating costs and free trade agreements.

During the meeting, the interlocutors put a special focus on the possibility for promoting the use of solar energy, as well as potential opportunities for development at the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

FIPA presented opportunities and projects from the energy sector, as well as projects of local innovators.
