2/7/2024

-Strengthening institutional cooperation on the promotion of the potential of the Republic of Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Acting Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) Marko Kubatlija met with the Minister of Finance and Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina Srđan Amidžić.

They discussed institutional cooperation on the promotion of the potential of the Republic of Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the support that is necessary in the process of improving the country's image and attracting direct foreign investments.

M Kubatlija presented the Agency's work plans for 2024, as well as the planned organization and participation in key events with the aim to attract direct foreign investments, because they are one of the conditions for increasing production and exports to a level that would enable stable economic growth for Bosnia and Herzegovina, creation of new jobs, as well as successful servicing of debts.

He estimates that one of the main goals should be the creation of an investment climate that favours the attraction of foreign investments and more proactive promotion of both entities.

It was agreed to cooperate in order to realize the stated goals.
