The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and the Chamber Investment Forum of Six Western Balkan Economies (CIF WB6) organized a conference in Ljubljana called "WB6 Investment Conference".
In addition to
representatives of the organizers, representatives of investors from Austria,
Croatia, Italy and Slovenia, Foreign Investment Promotion Agencies from the
Western Balkans, ministries responsible for investment policy and promotion,
regional organizations and international financial institutions participated in
the conference.
The aim of the
Conference was to present the possibilities and benefits of investments in the
Western Balkans region.
The Assistant of
the FIPA Director Slavica Korica participated in a panel that discussed the
opportunities that the investment framework offers to investors, the modalities
in which regional cooperation can help build synergy among the economies of the
Western Balkans, and key sectors that have greater potential for investments in
the economy of certain country.
Also within the
conference, a new promotional video about investment opportunities in the
countries of the Western Balkans was presented, and representatives of
investors shared their experiences of investing in the countries of the region.
