FIPA Director at a meeting with Business Sweden and the BiH Embassy in Stockholm

-Great potential for new investments of Swedish companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The FIPA Director Milica Marković met with Cherif Sayed, Vice President of Business Sweden for Strategies and Operations, in order to discuss activities related to the promotion of investment potentials.

Business Sweden is a Swedish trade and investment organization that helps Swedish companies increase their sales and investments worldwide, and international companies to invest and expand in Sweden. Business Sweden is helping Swedish companies find new markets and opportunities. They have business connections at all levels, and offer strategic advice and concrete support in 42 world markets.

FIPA presented the most attractive sectors for Swedish businessmen, and detailed data will be used by Business Sweden through its office in Vienna to promote the opportunities offered by Bosnia and Herzegovina. The forthcoming important conference in June 2022 called Join Sweden was discussed, at which Sweden promotes the potentials of the business community of certain target markets, and further steps of cooperation were agreed.

FIPA will provide a presentation of attractive investment sectors that could be of interest to Swedish investors, and these materials will reach Swedish investors through Business Sweden Organisation.

Director Marković met with the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Sweden HE Elvira Dilberović, and the President of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Business Association in Sweden Nazif Hasanović. The previous investments from Sweden were discussed, and activities and events were agreed upon to present the legislation and business environment for Swedish investors, as well as available investment opportunities, primarily in the energy sector, ICT and the metal processing sector.

The Agency will provide promotional material for investors, which will be forwarded by the BiH Embassy in Stockholm to investors at business forums in which it will participate.
