FIPA DIRECTOR AT A MEETING WITH THE JAPANESE ECONOMIC DELEGATION

-COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF TRADE AND INVESTMENT

The FIPA Director Milica Marković had a meeting with a Japanese business delegation led by Japanese businessman Tokihiro Ikeda, JIM Group Director and the Ambassador of BiH to Japan Siniša Berjan.

On that occasion, she presented all the basic aspects of the business environment in BiH with an emphasis on solar energy, as the dominant area of ​​activity of JIM Group. She pointed out that Japanese investments are welcome, because the BiH economy and citizens of BiH have great confidence in Japanese diligence and precision.

Considering that Japan is one of the largest donors in our country (from 1996 to 2020, about 1 billion BAM were donated through grants in all parts of BiH), Ms Marković used the opportunity to thank Japan for its assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It was agreed to continue cooperation on the promotion of BiH investment potentials to the business community in Japan, especially in the field of metal processing industry, organic food production, renewable energy sources, health tourism and IT industry.

Today's meeting is an excellent opportunity to promote Bosnia and Herzegovina and change the current situation in the field of investments, and further meetings have been agreed regarding investment plans of Mr Ikeda in our country.
