- THE GREAT BRITAIN IS RANKED AT 10th PLACE ON THE INVESTOR’S LIST IN BIH
The newly-appointed BiH Ambassador to the United Kingdom Vanja
Filipović, is being preparing for his mission at the Foreign Investment
Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) in order to work on attracting new British
investment to BiH.
The FIPA Director Gordan Milinić informed him that there is a space
and chances to increase British investment to BiH, and that UK is currently
ranked at the 10th position on the BiH investor’s list to BiH. So
far, 453 million BAM of investments have been recorded from UK, which is 3.4%
of the total investments in BiH. 126 British companies have participated in investments,
among which the most important are EFT, Steal-min, Mineco, Mital, RPC and
others.
FIPA has been working hard to attract British investors, so
recently, together with the BiH Embassy in London, have been organised an
investment forum and participation in a well-known investor gathering - the
Going Global FDI.
The Ambassador Filipović has expressed his willingness to join the
FIPA effort and is intensively working to establish contacts with all potential
investors from UK.
