Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) Gordan Milinić is participating at the International Investment Conference Zagreb Invest 2019, which attracted a large number of foreign investors, representatives of the industry, trade and financial sector, and the authorities of the regional countries.
At the
conference, Mr Milinić spoke about the possibilities for investing in BiH,
attractive sectors and opportunities offered by BiH to foreign investors,
processes that are being implemented in order to reform the business
environment, and the trends of foreign investment growth in the country.
He pointed out
that Croatia occupies the 2nd place on the list of investor
countries in BiH with EUR 1,182 billion invested, representing 17.2% of total
investments registered so far.
A large number
of Croatian companies that operate successfully in BiH, some of them are
Atlantic Group, Belupo, Vindi, Kraš, Dukat, Ina, and many others.
At the end of
the presentation, Director invited the investors to invest in Bosnia and
Herzegovina, stressing that FIPA is the main address for foreign investors in
BiH, which helps investors to realize their investment.
The projects
of BiH were presented on this occasion and they have attracted great interest
from the present investors, who requested additional information on the
business environment for foreign investors from the relevant representatives.
Besides the FIPA
Director, the conference was also attended by the President of the Chamber of
Commerce of FBiH Marko Šantić, Mayor of the Municipality of Posušje Branko Bago
and Director of the Regional Development Agency for Herzegovina Mirna Jelčić.
