The representatives of the Embassy of Vietnam in Hungary, which is also covering Bosnia and Herzegovina, Pham Van Cong, Trade Advisor, Le Trọng Ha, Political Advisor, and Tran Ngọc Ha, First Secretary, visited the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) in order to get familiarized with the possibilities of the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the possibilities for strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries, including investments and trade exchange.
The representatives
of competent institutions in BiH Slavica Korica, FIPA's Assistant Director,
Ognjenka Lalović, Director of the Sector for Economy at FTC BiH, Zehra
Selimović, Head of the Department for Foreign Investments of the Ministry of
Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, and Alma Tabučić, the expert
adviser in the Ministry, informed the guests with the basic tasks and goals of
the competent institutions in the field of strengthening the BiH economy. A presentation
on possibilities for investing in BiH and possibilities for improving the trade
exchange between the two countries was also held.
The delegation
of the Embassy of Vietnam met BiH representatives with the basic macroeconomic
indicators of Vietnam and pointed out the steady progress of their economy and
presented opportunities for improving the economic cooperation of the two
countries.
The attendees
agreed that businessmen do not have enough information about the possibilities for
cooperation, but that there are potentials and that it should work on its
improvement.
