The FIPA representatives Amir Kazić and Stipo Djak attended the presentation of the project Eko zona Korićani, which was held in Travnik in the presence of the Prime Minister of the Central Bosna Canton Tahir Lendo, the Mayor of Travnik Admir Hadžiemrić, the Chairman of the Consortium Heritage China / Heritage Turk dr. Ebru Gursan, the Director of Heritage Turk for the Balkans, Anele Yalinpala, and other representatives of institutions in BiH.
The value of
the project "Eko zona Korićani-Vlašić" is estimated at 4.26 billion EUR,
whiles facilities such an airport, hospital, residential buildings, ski centre,
golf course, aqua park, artificial lake, biomass power plant and municipal
waste....) should be built on an area of 20 square kilometres on the mountain
plateau Vlašić.
Heritage Turk,
along with its sister companies China Heritage Resources and Caricom Oil China,
is a platform for financing investment projects supported by Chinese Investment
Banks, state and Private Equity Funds, Chinese State Corporations and private
investors. The consortium has its headquarters in Hong Kong and Beijing, Ankara
and Istanbul, and active offices and local partners in 17 countries of the
world.
Dr Gürsan, Chairman
of the multinational consortium "Heritage Platform", said the project
is in the planning stage and expects establishing a joint venture company in
BiH companies in the spring.
The
contribution of the FIPA and its efforts linking the project authors with the
potential Chinese-Turkish investor was emphasized.
At the end of
the meeting, the delegation visited the location of the future project on the
Vlašić plateau in the area of Korićani village, which is about 40 km from the
centre of Travnik.
