Visit to foreign companies in BiH

Within the Aftercare Program for 2017, on 12 September 2017, it was held a meeting with the Director of the Atiker company Ltd, Refik Nedžić, and the Sale Director, Advija Hadžić. The meeting was also attended by Admir Aljić, representative of the Municipality of Živinice.

Atiker Metal Group from Turkey, owner of Atiker Ltd, is engaged in the production and installation of gas car systems and their servicing. It is at 100% foreign investment and started operating in 2013 in Živinice.

Currently, it employs 18 workers. Total investments amount to 1, 75 million EUR. They have 3 centres in BiH, and the plan is to open another 3, which would mean 30 new jobs. Representatives of the company pointed out the need to modify regulations on gas storage tanks approval, as well as to modify legal solutions that regulate this area.

The visit was also paid to the company Sućo Ltd. The meeting was held with Erna Mujčinović and the Head of Production, Muharem Čamdžić, including representatives of the Municipality of Živinice, Admir Aljić and the spokesperson, Alma Suljkanović.

The Company Sućo d.o.o. is closely specialized in the construction of fire trucks and the entire production is intended for export. Lentner GmbH and the Director of Sućo Ltd,  Suad Bešlić, are the owners of the company with equal share (50:50). Company started operating in BiH at the end of 2016.  They currently employ 15 workers. The initial investment amounted to 500,000 EUR. They are planning to extend their manufacturing process in order to provide all services to their production and to invest additional 1.5-2 million EUR, as well as employing another 100 workers of various educational profiles.

The opening of the factory is planned on 22 September 2017.
