On this occasion, Nina Pobric, Head of Investment Promotion Department at FIPA, had on 17 July a presentation on possibilities for investing in BiH with a focus on the financial and banking sector

The CBF conference provides the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience with experts from around the world in the fields of corporate and international finance, accounting, risk management and insurance, development economy and banks management.

The FIPA representative Nina Pobrić introduced the attendees with the legal regulations related to the banking sector, the structure of the BiH financial sector and basic parameters of the banking sector in BiH. She also introduced the guests with other attractive sectors for investments and the advantages that BiH offers to foreign investors such as low profit tax, free trade agreements, low operating costs and a liberal legal framework for foreign investors.

The main speaker at the conference was PhD Salim Rashid, Professor at the prestigious University of Utara, Malaysia, as well as at the University of Illinois, USA. One of the speakers at the conference was Professor PhD Kemal Kozarić, Dean of the Faculty of Economy in Sarajevo.
