Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA), Marko Kubatlija, and Assistant Director Slavica Korica held a meeting in Athens with representatives of Enterprise Greece — Annita Triposkouli, Director for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Major Exporters, and Lina Liogaris, Senior Officer at the Directorate for International and Institutional Affairs.

Given that FIPA and
Enterprise Greece have already signed a Memorandum of Understanding, the
meeting focused on opportunities to further enhance the existing cooperation
between the two agencies. Special emphasis was placed on the exchange of
information regarding relevant business events of mutual interest, as well as
on the timely sharing of information with Enterprise Greece about public
tenders in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The participants also
discussed the possibility of organizing online webinars, following the example
of previous activities conducted in cooperation with Spanish and Qatari
institutions, with the aim of presenting business, trade, and investment
opportunities in both countries. In addition, opportunities for participation
in one of the largest trade fairs in Greece, held annually in September in
Thessaloniki, were also discussed.
The participants concluded
that activities aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and raising
awareness within the business community about investment and business
opportunities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Greece will continue in the period
ahead.
