Representatives of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA), Gordana Radović and Tanja Bojović-Simić, attended a meeting with 40 representatives of Dutch companies, organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the meeting, investment opportunities and the
business environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina were presented, with special
emphasis on the country’s competitive advantages for foreign investors. FIPA
representatives highlighted the Agency’s role in supporting investors by
providing information on the business environment, legislative framework,
investment projects, and available institutional support.
Business representatives were introduced to key
investment sectors, including manufacturing, energy, ICT, tourism, agriculture,
the metal and wood processing industries, as well as the real estate sector.
Particular emphasis was placed on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s advantages, such as
its strategic location, access to EU and CEFTA markets, a skilled workforce,
competitive tax rates, and a stable financial system.
During the presentation, it was emphasized that
investments from the Netherlands in Bosnia and Herzegovina currently amount to
around €560 million, primarily in the sectors of renewable energy,
infrastructure, manufacturing, and real estate. FIPA’s post-investment support
activities were also presented, including the Aftercare project, the
facilitation of connections between domestic companies and foreign investors,
and the promotion of successful investment projects.
Dutch business representatives expressed interest in
obtaining additional information about doing business and investing in Bosnia
and Herzegovina, particularly regarding the real estate market and the legal
framework for foreign investors.
