The Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA), Marko Kubatlija, and his associates participated in the Third International Business Fair “Banja Luka EXPO 2026,” one of the region’s leading economic events, gathering domestic and international companies, investors, institutional representatives, and experts from a wide range of industrial and business sectors.

The International Business Fair “Banja Luka EXPO 2026”
is an international exhibition dedicated to the sectors of construction, metal
and electrical industries, wood processing, technology and household
appliances, IT, electronics and robotics, real estate, architecture, and
design. The fair provides a platform for showcasing new technologies,
innovative solutions, and investment potential, while also facilitating
business networking and strengthening regional and international economic
cooperation.
During the fair, Director Kubatlija also participated
in a panel discussion titled “EXPO 2027 – A Development Opportunity for Serbia
and the Region,” where he spoke about the importance of international events of
this kind for enhancing economic activity and attracting foreign investment to
the countries of the region. On that occasion, he emphasized that Expo 2027
would represent an important opportunity to further position Bosnia and
Herzegovina on the international investment map, promote the country’s economic
potential, and strengthen regional cooperation in the fields of infrastructure,
tourism, energy, digitalization, and innovation.
He emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina possesses
significant natural resources, a competitive workforce, and a favorable
geographic position, noting that international fairs and business forums of
this kind provide an excellent platform for presenting investment opportunities
and establishing direct contacts with potential foreign investors and business
partners.
