Representatives of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA), led by Director Marko Kubatlija, are participating at the Berlin Process Business Forum in London, which brings together representatives of the relevant institutions of the Western Balkans countries, companies and European partners with the aim to strengthen the region as an attractive location for foreign investment, increase regional investment, deepen trade ties and promote inclusive growth.

The Forum,
which is being held at the historic Lancaster House Building in London,
provides a strategic platform for private sector engagement and practical
cooperation.
The first
panel was held on investment opportunities in the Western Balkans, chaired by
the Senior Competitiveness Expert at the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC),
Mr. Agon Nixha -
The
objectives of this panel are to promote the Western Balkans (WB6) as a
strategic investment destination and to connect the region with international
markets, to provide each investment promotion agency in the Western Balkans
with a platform to present the most important investments and strategic
projects, especially those supporting the green transition, to present the
improvement of the investment climate in the region, to facilitate direct
cooperation between the Investment Promotion Agencies (IPAs) of the Western
Balkans countries and the UK Export Finance Office (UKEF) and potential
investors, and to present available financing instruments and reforms aligned
with EU standards in order to support investor confidence.
On this
occasion, Slavica Korica, Assistant Director of FIPA, had a presentation on
strategic investment opportunities, including public-private partnerships and
green infrastructure projects.
Participation
at this forum represents a significant step towards strengthening the
international position of Bosnia and Herzegovina and confirms FIPA's commitment
to promoting the country and presenting investment opportunities at the
international level.
