The Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion
Agency of BiH (FIPA) Milica Marković met with Omer Egilmez, General Manager of
Natron-Hayat company from Maglaj and his associates.
During the meeting, they discussed the
difficulties related to the procurement of raw materials that the company is
facing and on which their further plans to expand production and new
investments, depend.
Hayat Holding operates in 11 countries around
the world, and the investment in Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the leading
Turkish investments, employing about 900 workers and cooperating with a large
number of companies throughout BiH.
It has been agreed that FIPA will intervene
within its competence with the relevant authorities and institutions in order
to provide support to this foreign investor.
Director Marković pointed out that satisfied
investors are the best economic ambassadors of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
For many years, FIPA has been implementing the
Aftercare program and providing support to existing foreign investors with the
aim to motivate them to reinvest, to improve ties with the local economy, as
well as all levels of governments in BiH.
