As a member of the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by Minister Staša Košarac, Acting Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA), Marko Kubatlija, attended a meeting with the Minister of Home and Foreign Trade of Serbia, Tomislav Momirović.
The meeting
discussed European integration, which is defined as an important foreign policy
goal of BiH, as well as the fact that within the framework of European
integration, it is necessary to work on the development of the regional market
and the fulfilment of standards with the aim to improve the overall economic
environment.
They also
discussed the initiative of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska
regarding the realization of business cooperation with the Iron Ore Mine of Ljubija
in Prijedor, considering the difficulties in functioning the Steel Mill in
Zenica, to which the Mine of Ljubija supplied iron ore.
There was also
talk about the organization of Expo 2027, where Belgrade will host this
prestigious international event. It will also be a huge opportunity to present
the relative potential of both entities.
The meeting was
also attended by representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of
Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
